spent vday eve having dinner w colleagues; ate, walked, talked, laughed, & played mindboggling trend games. turned out to be more fun than i expected it to be. so pizzahut, ben's&jerry, oldschool, cathay probably sums up our gathering.
and on vday, had the urge to skip town. so simin and i rung a couple of ppl up asking if they wanted to go. whoa mei xiang dao the kenneth so steady ley. called him at about 9+am, and he was already at NUS attending this talk. he barely slept a few hours since he had also attended the dinner last night, and reached home at 12+. awesomeness. he didnt really agree to gg initially cos he didnt bring his passport along. so brilliant simin suggested that i go over to his hse to collect it from his parents since we both live in yishun. okay, so i was the one who did the saikang. walked for like 25+ mins to get to his hse..
yep, and aft all the unworthy-to-be-mentioned-trouble, we found ourselves rushing for the Msian train at the KTM station @ tanjong pagar. they have this metrojaya and 56th street. sounds somewhat familiar right. apart from window shopping, we also played this stupid archery game which i was super kns in. both precision and accuracy = 0% KNS. arms trembled really badly bcos its damn taxing to draw the arrow along w the string outwards. i sound like imma weakling but NO IM NOT. maybe wrong technique used. screwed other arcade games too la which obviously isnt an issue since i had already predicted the outcome. us girls did pedicure and manicure, while the 2 guys went to shampoo & cut their hair. 1 shampooed, and the other cut&shampooed. its like damn weird to like have your hair shampooed ONLY right. its as good as throwing your ringgit into the sink. aiya, they like can alr.
rushed for the train home again, and omg. the nightview along the causeway was magnificient. BUT DAMNIT, simin was the one who sat beside me. next yr man, i swear it'll be my valentine who will be sitting beside me where the ye jing is so mi ren. everything seemed so perfect & romantic as my vision secured itself to the mesmerizing lights from the other side of the ocean. then when i turned to the person beside me, wahlao eh! the same old face i'd been seeing nearly every day since 4 years ago. i should have been more deserving of God's love. lol. but nevermind, NEXT YEAR MY LOVE WILL COME! (err, pray hard la. pray suuper suuper hard!)
got home, but went out again to catch a movie. The Other End Of The Line. the jese guy is so damn handsome la. thank god the female lead is pretty and/yet witty. tsktsk. i think its better than benjamin button cos brad pitt only appeared for like 1/2 hr out of the 2hr45 mins. and bcos of this movie, i didnt get to watch my fang li shen on ch 8. i think i watched that movie 2 times though.. =x
